The Department of Sports and Recreation is excited to host a summer day camp for Summer
2019. A unique opportunity to unplug from technology, make new friends, & have fun
while participating in a variety of traditional & non-traditional activities. Activities
include swimming, bouldering, kickball, soccer, dodgeball, wacky relays, ultimate Frisbee,
variety of yard games, craft & art projects. Special events are scheduled for each week of camp!
Campers will need athletic clothing, tennis shoes, sun-screen, bathing suit, and towel. Please review the weekly schedule special event information carefully during registration, weeks that outline specialized equipment will be noted. Examples include camper providing properly fitting life jacket, properly fitting helmet, bicycle or scooter, tennis racket, etc.
- Drop-Off: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
- Programed Activities: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pick-up: 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM

- Session 2: June 10-14
- Session 3: June 17 - 21
- Session 4: June 24-28
Special Activities Schedule
- Session 2: Water Week – (water slides, cardboard boat race, etc.)
- Campers are required bring a properly fitting life jacket to fully participate.
- Session 3: Tennis & Baseball/Softball
- We request that campers bring a tennis racquet and baseball/softball glove.
- Session 4: Bike Rodeo
- Campers are required bring a properly fitting helmet to fully participate.
- We request that campers bring a bicycle or scooter.
Please note we have an extremely limited inventory of equipment available for check-out. Check back for updates as additional activities are confirmed.
Cost & Registration
Registration is open through the Friday before each camp session/week.
Camp fees are $225.00 per session, Early Bird pricing is available at $200.00 per session if purchased prior to May 10, 2019.
Before registering you camper online, create your account and also add your campers
as "Dependents" under your account. This can be done by clicking on your account ID
in the top right corner, then clicking the "Add a Dependent" button. This is especially
important if you are registering multiple campers.
Please read: Make sure registration is in the name of the child attending camp, not in the parent/guardian name.
In-person registration can be completed in the Department of Sports and Recreation office suite at the Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center, located at 290 Kennesaw State University Road NW, Kennesaw, GA. Age requirements are established to safely facilitate age-appropriate activities. Campers will be placed into groups according to their grade. Campers must between rising 2nd graders through rising 8th graders.
Lunch and Snacks
Campers are required to bring a snack(s), lunch, and beverage each day. Refrigeration and microwave facilities are not available to campers. Water coolers are available for cold water throughout the day.
Sign-in & Sign-out Procedures
For the safety of each child, all campers must be signed in and signed out each day. Parents or guardians will need to leave their vehicle to drop off and pick up their child. Campers may only be picked up and signed out by an authorized person (indicated at time of registration). Campers may not sign themselves in or out. Please be ready to show a photo I.D. to a staff member.
