    OwlFit Programs offer a variety of ways for you to reach your fitness goals:

    • Reach your fitness goals with new friends! Certified group fitness instructors lead participants in classes that are fun, challenging, and appropriate for all fitness levels. Each week, we offer a variety of class formats including Yoga, Pilates, Zumba®, TRX®, Indoor Cycling, Bootcamp and many more.

    • Whatever your goals, our Personal Trainers will create a training program that fits your style. The Personal Training program is a physical, psychological and emotional experience designed not only to make you feel more powerful, but to educate and empower you to take a greater role in your personal fitness.

    • Pilates Reformer

      Session One (January 29-March 7, 2019) & Session Two (March 12-April 18, 2019)

      Join us for a 6-week progressive Pilates program that explores dynamic exercises on the Reformer and mat. This small group will allow you to have a deeper-mind-body connection as you focus on strength, balance, and stability.

      Women on Weights

      Session One (January 28-March 1, 2019) & Session Two (March 4 – April 10, 2019)

      Interested in learning more about strength training with free weights and how to incorporate it into your exercise routine? Then register for Women on Weights (WOW) Small Group Training! During this 5 week program you will learn proper weightlifting technique, how to utilize various pieces of equipment, and gain the knowledge and confidence to create your own strength training workout. The goal and purpose of Women on Weights is to teach women the benefits of strength training, and how to strength train properly to maximize their health and fitness goals.

      Synergy Yoga

      Tuesday January 29, 2019
      Marietta Campus Wilson Student Center Ballroom A

      Take a break from your busy schedule and try out this fun, friendly, and relaxing Yoga session open to all experience levels. Find a community of support through partner poses, restorative techniques, and relaxation exercises. No previous yoga experience or partner necessary; bring a friend, a loved one, a sibling, a neighbor, or yourself! 


      Bike Across America

      March 18 - April 19, 2019
      Time: Varies
      Location: varies (Open to participants at both Marietta and Kennesaw)

      Join OwlFit and Outdoor Adventures for a 4-week fitness challenge to “Bike Across America”! Throughout this 4 week challenge participants will aim to reach a goal of biking 400 miles. Participants can earn miles while cycling in the great outdoors, or by joining in on a cycling class at the SRAC and RWC. There will be special theme cycling classes throughout the challenge, and the challenge will end with an outdoor group ride with Outdoor Adventures. This challenge is a great way to try something new, and push your fitness to the next level! Special prizes will be awarded to those who complete the challenge, and a grand prize will be awarded for one lucky winner!

    • No time to make it to the Rec Center? Let us come to you! The Fitness on the Fly program is intended for organizations that want to have a custom experience for their group. Additional fees may apply depending upon request. Click here for additional details and to submit a Fitness on the Fly request. 

    • Learn what it takes to be a Group Exercise Instructor or Personal Trainer with great organizations like Schwinn, Fitness Anywhere (TRX Suspension Training), Zumba®, and YogaFit. See the Fitness Professional Development page for details.

      Our Spring 2019 offerings include: 

      • TRX Functional Training Course (February 9, 2019):
        Participants will learn how to leverage TRX’s movement based training approach on the TRX Suspension Trainer and Rip Trainer to teach Foundational Movements and progressions and then apply to a variety of training equipment. Beyond Suspension Training and Rip Training, there other modalities may include: Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, DVRT Ultimate Sandbags, Battling Ropes and Bands.       • International Society of Sports Nutrition-KSU Nutrition and Training Conference (March 9, 2019):
        Join members of the International Society of Sports Nutrition and Kennesaw’s State University’s Department of Exercise Science program that highlights the latest research in the areas of nutrition, sports nutrition, and training. For more information on this conference, click here. 

      • AFAA Group Fitness Instructor Workshop (March 23, 2019):
        For over 35 years, AFAA® has provided generations of instructors with practical skills and hands-on experience needed to inspire and motivate the world to move toward happier and healthier lives. This course will provide you with a strong foundation for you to build your future as a Group Fitness Instructor, and empower you to excel in the exciting group fitness community.
