Active Owls Days:
The Department of Sports and Recreation will host interested faculty, staff, alumni
and retirees during Active Owls Day with a complementary one-time visit pass for the
day. You will have the chance to speak one-on-one with one of our Member Services
staff and ask any questions you have about membership with Sports and Recreation.

Membership Program FAQ’s
Who is eligible to obtain a membership to the Dr. Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center on the Kennesaw campus and/or Recreation and Wellness Center on the Marietta campus?
Students that are currently enrolled at Kennesaw State University and paying the mandatory student recreation fee are eligible to access either location during operating hours.
Faculty, staff, retirees, and alumni may purchase a membership.
Spouses, family members and friends of currently enrolled students paying the mandatory student rec fee, faculty, staff, retirees, and alumni may purchase a KSU affiliate membership.
KSU students that are not paying the mandatory student rec fee, such as web learners may purchase a membership.

What are the eligible membership categories?
Currently enrolled student paying the mandatory student rec fee at Kennesaw State University. (The mandatory student rec. fee is collected with tuition. To confirm if you have paid, please see your student account charges). If you fall into this category, you will have access upon your arrival at the facilities.
KSU students that are participating in programs at Kennesaw State University and do not pay the mandatory student recreation fee.
KSU Students taking a single semester off from study. Stop-out students may purchase a membership for no more than one semester after recent enrollment.
Includes full-time, part-time, or temporary personnel that possess a valid KSU ID Card.
Includes former personnel that have retired from Kennesaw State University or the former Southern Polytechnic State University.
Graduated from Kennesaw State University or the former Southern Polytechnic State University with a degree. Three complimentary passes are available for alumni each year. To gain access and have your passes activated, visit one of the recreation centers and provide the staff with a photo ID. Photo ID’s are required to enter the facilities at all times. Passes will provide alumni with access to the Kennesaw and Marietta recreation centers.
KSU Adult Affiliate:
Current members of the Dr. Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center may have his/her spouse, family member or friend become a member. The KSU member must be present during the membership transaction of the affiliate, presenting their KSU ID as well as a photo ID of the joining affiliate. The affiliate must be 17 years of age or older. Affiliate membership amount may be included on payroll deduction.
Combo Siegel Center and Employee Fitness Center:
Currently employed faculty or staff that choose to become members of both the Dr. Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center and the Employee Fitness Center. Payroll deduction is available.
Outdoor Adventures Membership:
This membership provides access to Nature Bound Trips, the KSU Bike Shop, Outdoor Gear Rentals as well as access to the Climbing Gym.
Available to a KSU Affiliate who does not have a membership and would like to access the recreation centers for one day. Guests of recreation center members may also purchase a Day Pass. Guest must be 17 years of age or older. All guests need to be accompanied by their sponsor while in the recreation center locations. Picture ID is required for guest. KSU ID is required for KSU Affiliates. Day Passes must be purchased the day you want to access the recreation centers. We can accept cash, checks, or money orders.

What payment methods are accepted for membership purchases?The Department of Sports and Recreation accepts cash, check, or money order. Student Banner Account or Payroll Deduction for eligible memberships is also available. To purchase a membership for the Kennesaw campus, please visit the Sports and Recreation Administrative Suite located inside the Dr. Betty L. Siegel Student Recreation and Activities Center during office hours which are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. For the Marietta campus, please visit the Service Desk in the Student Recreation Center during operating hours.
How much are locker rentals?
Lockers are available for daily use only at no extra cost. Locks are provided.

May I bring a guest?Yes, members may bring up to two (2) guest per visit. Guests must be at least 17 years of age. Guests must purchase a Day Pass. All guests must be accompanied by a recreation center member and must bring a picture ID. The guest will need to sign a waiver/release form to gain entry to the recreation center.
Multi- Visist GUEST POLICY (NEW, January 1, 2019):
Current SRAC/ RWC members may purchase a 10-Visit Multi-Visit Pass which may be used to bring guests to the SRAC/ RWC.
The cost for the 10-Visit Multi-Visit Pass is:
$80.00 - Kennesaw Campus and expires one year from the date of purchase
$40.00 - Marietta Campus and expires one year from the date of purchase.
SRAC/ RWC Fitness Center members may host TWO non-member per day.
The individual SRAC/ RWC member is the only person permitted to bring a guest and must have purchased multi-visit passes assigned to their membership.
The multi-visit entry pass is not a day pass and no re-entry will be permitted at a later time during the day unless another swipe is used.
The minimum age requirement for a guest is 17
Members will be held accountable for the conduct and/ or damages as a result of the sponsored guests. Any misconduct may result in the student member being reported to the Office of Student Conduct for possible disciplinary sanctions.
The Multi-visit pass may be voided with any violation to the SRAC/ RWC rules and/or guest policies.
The Department of Sports Recreation reserves the right to revoke the purchase of a multi-visit pass at any time at their discretion.
