2017 Race Results
Race LocationStart and Finish will be held at Field 3 of the Sports and Recreation Park. This field is located behind Fifth Third Bank Stadium and across from U Pointe Kennesaw student housing.
Participants can park in the Field 3 parking lot (behind Fifth Third Bank Stadium and across from U Pointe Kennesaw student housing - limited spots available.
The Perch parking lot will also be available as well as the Cobb County Transit lot across George Busbee Parkway.
Race Start InformationRoad Race competition begins PROMPTLY at 3:00PM.
1 Mile Event will begin shortly after the 5K participants have departed the start line.
Start line is on Field 3. You will run one lap around the field and exit to the trail going clockwise. On the first lap, you will go around the Fifth Third Bank Stadium adjacent to George Busbee Parkway. You will then enter the trail again and continue clockwise. On the second lap, you will remain on the trail and go behind the stadium near field 3. On the third and last lap you will follow the trail back to Field 3. As you finish this lap you will enter Field 3 and cross the finish line on the field.
All early registrations will take place online.
Day of registration will be from 1:30-2:30pm at the KSU Sports and Recreation Park.
Guests must register with a KSU affiliate.
Early option: November 15, 2017, 8:00AM-5:00PM in Dept. of Sports and Recreation Admin Suite 1101 inside the Student Recreation and Activities Center
Day of Race: November 16, 2017, 1:30PM-2:30PM at the Field 3 main entrance.
Awards will be presented to the first place overall male and female and the top three male and female runners in each age group.
Competitors that win the first place overall male and female awards are not eligible to win for individual age categories.
T-ShirtsParticipants are encouraged to pick up their t-shirt as soon as they have finished the race.
Raffle Entry Information
We are collecting non-perishable food items for the KSU CARE Center. Each food donation item equals one raffle ticket. Participants are eligible to receive up to 10 raffle tickets. Please participate!
Items that are needed for the food bank are below:
- Chef Boyardee or other pasta meals
- Peanut Butter
- Pasta noodles and sauce
- Hearty Soup
- Canned chicken/tuna
- Granola bars
Bring donated items to the raffle table at the Sports and Recreation Park upon your arrival for race day.
We welcome participation from NCAA track and field athletes however, they will not be eligible for awards.
